Tuesday Treat - Had a lovely breakfast here today. Hubby had a Full English which he said was lovely and cooked to perfection and I had the Poached Eggs on Chilli Avocado Smash with Halloumi and beautifully sweet roasted vine tomatoes. 10/10 for both dishes and washed down with a lovely latte. Thanks Ian, Helen and Christine for lovely grub and service with a smile!

Popped in simply because I was at the metro station and needed some food, but wow! Had the lemon and elderflower cake, which was gorgeous! They have a great selection of cake, scones and sandwiches too. Hidden treasure!

By far the very best bacon sarnies in the north east. Worth getting off the metro at Monkseaton Station to sample them! Home made scones and cakes are also all delicious. Really friendly service - a sure hit every time.

Pot of tea and a cheese scone were lovely, and although we were outside it's under cover so the rain didnt affect us. We'll be back next week. Brilliant!

Nice place, very friendly staff and they're dog-friendly, both my old spaniel Harvey and new Springer Ralph liked coming here. Prices are very fair and the service is very good. No complaints, the gluten free cakes and the various cupcakes are always delicious.

Absolutely delicious! There are no other words for it. Had the ham and lentil home cooked soup today with a cheese scone that was warmed and it was fantastic. Seating inside and out and helpful and kind staff. Has baby changing, doesn’t take American Express.
